This food puzzle might not be the most difficult one we have, but it makes for a great introduction to puzzles and mental enrichment, as your dog will still be required to nudge, paw and sniff in search of every treat you've hidden in the different levels.

Just like with most puzzles, the fewer food/treat pieces you have your dog work for at a time, the better. That way their success is based on their skill set, rather than a high probability of multiple pieces being everywhere.

Pro tip: Once your dog has figured out this puzzle, wrap it in a towel, put it inside a cardboard box and bury it in your dog's toys so they have to jump in and dig, just to get to their puzzle!
